Survey SelectCAD (Topo)
Description:
This 2 day course is designed for Surveyors and Engineers who are interested in learning how to apply productive techniques of mapping, site terrain modeling, and COGO layout commands to a project, using Survey SelectCAD V8. This course will focus on reducing field data collection into base mapping and digital terrain models. We use actual data sets focusing on DOT standards, similar to those in which the students may encounter in everyday work environment. After completion of this course a student would be able to apply productive techniques using Survey SelectCAD for base mapping, digital terrain modeling, creating alignments, and baseline/traverse reports.
Pre-requisites:
Students should have experience in coordinate geometry and an understanding of field procedures for topographic surveys. Also working knowledge of MicroStation SE or J.
